Is paint correction required before ceramic coating?
Usually yes. A coating locks in the surface beneath it as-is, so swirl marks and scratches are corrected first. On brand-new cars a light preparation may be enough.
Does ceramic coating fully prevent scratches?
No; ceramic coating increases surface hardness and resists light abrasion, but does not prevent deep scratches or impacts. For physical protection, PPF film is more suitable.
When can I wash the car after coating?
We recommend avoiding washing for the first 7 days so the layer fully cures. We share the details in the care guide.
